Prostaglandins (PG) are a group of lipid compounds with different physiological activities that have hormone-like effects in animals. Prostaglandins are found in almost all tissues and organs of humans and other animals. They are produced by almost all nucleated cells. Prostaglandins act on the autocrine and paracrine lipid mediators of endothelium, platelets, uterus and mast cells.
PGE2 is the most abundant PG in the body. It has inflammation manifestations such as fever and pain, as well as hyperpermeability of blood vessels. PGF2α regulates the functions of female reproductive organs, such as the degradation of the corpus luteum and the induction of labor pain. PGI2 reduces vascular tone by expanding vascular smooth muscle and anticoagulant effect. PGD2 can induce sleep and has anti-inflammatory effects in a variety of inflammatory diseases. TXB2 is a vasoconstrictor that promotes platelet aggregation.
Creative Proteomics provides comprehensive prostaglandins targeted lipidomics services from lipid extraction, lipid detection and data analysis for biomedical research institutions, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Absolute quantification: Use external standard method to quantify, and use internal standard for correction, qualitative and quantitative is more accurate.
High sensitivity: We use liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometers for prostaglandin analysis service (Triple Quad™ 6500 LC-MS/MS System).

We can receive many types of samples, including cerebral tissues, urine, human menstrual fluid, plasma.
After sample collection, you can either perform sample pretreatment, or contact us for specific sample pretreatment service.
